Thinking ahead to the holidays

This is apropos of nothing, but I really want to make Christmas presents this year. I don't like to think about the holidays untill at least December 1, but if I'm going to make stuff I'll need a head start. I wonder if it's even possible to find the time. Anybody else making holiday gifts?
